Elon Musk, who came to the fore by purchasing Twitter, continues his different works within the company without slowing down. Having laid off half of the employees, Musk has different plans for the remaining half. The Twitter CEO made an unusual request by sending three different emails to his employees.
Elon Musk invites employees to meet
Elon Musk, who sends a message to all his employees and invites them to the meeting, demands that the employees prove their proficiency in software. Musk, who wants to see the codes that his employees have written in the past and the successes they have revealed for the company, seems to have taken the lightning with this message.
The writings of Elon Musk, who expressed his wishes by sending 3 different e-mails, have also emerged. It is also a matter of curiosity how successful business people who aim to meet with their employees face to face will make decisions on Twitter after this process.
The emails Elon Musk sent to Twitter employees are as follows:
Mail 1
Anyone who actually writes code, please come to the 10th floor today at 2:00 PM. Before doing so, please email a bullet summary of what your code commands have accomplished in the last ~6 months, along with up to 10 screenshots of the most obvious lines of code.
Mail 2
If you are working remotely, please still email the request below and I will try to talk to you via video. Only those who cannot physically reach Twitter Headquarters or are experiencing a family emergency can take leave.
These will be short, technical interviews that allow me to better understand the Twitter tech stack.
Email 3
If possible, I’d appreciate it if you could fly to San Francisco to be present in person. I’ll be at Twitter HQ by midnight and be back again tomorrow morning.
