Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared a Web3 post tweet, noting the dressing style of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
Musk made a sarcastic tweet, linking Buterin’s dressing style with Web3. The three-panel meme post Musk shared depicts the evolution of the internet. In the post, the Web1 section is accompanied by a photo of Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Across Web2, it shows a picture of actor Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in David Fincher’s Oscar-winning film “The Social Network.”
Web3 has Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. He is featured in the hilarious bear costume he wore at EThenver, an Ethereum-focused conference.
Buterin’s dressing style has recently sparked controversy on social media. Some said the costume actually marked the start of another bear market. Recently, Buterin said in an interview that another crypto winter would be beneficial for the industry.
Many comments came under this tweet published by Musk. But the message behind Musk’s tweet remains unclear.
Many companies are starting to get caught up in the Web3 trend. Musk said in late December that it’s all about marketing. The billionaire has also repeatedly shared sarcastic tweets about Web3 technology.
Has anyone seen web3? I can’t find it.
