Tesla CEO Elon Musk has signaled that a new charging station can accept Dogecoin.
Tesla Console founder Ryan Zohoury tweeted about the newly opened Tesla charging station in Santa Monica via his Twitter account. Zohoury said that the station was full as soon as it opened and shared a photo showing the occupancy.
Musk, on the other hand, said in this tweet that a futurism-themed restaurant and a movie theater that can be entered with vehicles ( He said that a new charging station is planned, including the drive-in theater, and that this station will be able to accept payments with Dogecoin.
As it is known, Musk is trying to popularize the use of Dogecoin in payments. In the past months, Musk has started accepting Dogecoin for some in-store products at Tesla.
