The long-standing news of moving from the Tesla front is finally coming true. Elon Musk has officially announced that they will move the company’s headquarters from the state of California to Texas.
Musk, who has frequently expressed his desire to move the company’s headquarters from the state of California in the last 2 years, informed the partners of the decision made at the shareholders meeting held in Austin.
Elon Musk: “We will not cut our relationship with California”
Elon Musk, Tesla’s senior manager and one of the richest businessmen in the world, has been arguing for a long time that Tesla should move from California to Texas. Especially on the Tesla front, which had serious problems with the California local authorities during the COVID-19 process and had a great financial burden, it was officially decided to change the state.
Elon Musk, in a statement to the shareholders on the subject, stated that moving to Austin, Texas would be much more economical and advantageous for Tesla and they will no longer be located in Silicon Valley. Explaining that Tesla will not leave California completely, Musk underlined that tax rates are more suitable in Austin and the center will be at a more visitable point.
