There has been a remarkable development regarding the billionaire businessman Elon Musk. It turned out that the owner of Twitter has at least 2 fake Twitter accounts. Although Elon Musk has appeared to confirm one of the claims, there is no concrete development regarding the second account. Let’s take a closer look at Elon Musk’s fake accounts on Twitter.
Everything came to light when Elon Musk announced the number of subscribers on Twitter. A screenshot shared by Elon Musk revealed that Musk actually had another account along with the number of subscribers. Of course, the post, which received more than 25 million views, did not escape the attention of some hawk-eyed Twitter users. User reviews revealed that the billionaire businessman’s first fake account on Twitter was Elon Test (@ErmnMusk).
Here is the screenshot that reveals Elon Musk’s fake account:
The posts made from the account named Elon Test were mostly about Elon Musk himself. It seems that the billionaire businessman was happy to share that he loved himself and especially Tesla. Moreover, Musk, who has over 130 million followers on his official account, wanted his fake account to be followed by people. Because there were posts like “Follow me” from the account named Elon Test.
Elon Musk “agreed” that this account belongs to him in a reply
A Twitter account using the name DogeDesigner quoted the screenshot shared by Elon Musk and claimed that the billionaire businessman actually had a second account. Replying to the share you can access here, Musk said, “You’ll never guess it’s me.” used the phrases. This post was interpreted as acceptance by social media.
Let’s go to the second account
A second account allegedly owned by Elon Musk is John Utah (@e). Following only 3 users, Elon Musk, NASA and LAist, John Utah has not shared anything so far. So how is this empty account associated with Elon Musk?
If you have noticed, the account named John Utah was opened in November 2022. That is the first period when Elon Musk officially bought Twitter. There is nothing in this. As a result, thousands of accounts are opened on Twitter every day. However, it is not very reasonable for the username to consist of a single letter in the form of “e”. If this account was really newly acquired, it wouldn’t be able to get a one-character username. Because it has been 16 years since Twitter was founded, and usernames have overflowed over the years. Estimates are that Elon Musk emptied the “@e” username after purchasing Twitter and started using it himself.
