The new HBO series House of the Dragon, which took place approximately 200 years before the events in the Game of Thrones series, was finally broadcast on August 21, 2022. Inspired by George RR Martin’s novel Fire and Blood, the production met expectations with its first episode and achieved a great success with 10 million views in one night. It also managed to reach millions of viewers in the second episode aired last Sunday.
After House of the Dragon started so well, it was officially announced that the series was approved for a second season. Some rumors that have emerged now showed that a new actor could join the cast of the series in the second season and excited the fans.
Elizabeth Olsen allegedly could join House of the Dragon cast
A report first put forward by Giant Freakin Robot and stated to be based on reliable sources claimed that a character from Marvel could join the House of the Dragon. Rumor has it that Elizabeth Olsen, whom we know as Scarlett Witch in the MCU, may join the second season of the series.
There are no details yet about what role Olsen will appear in the series. Although there is no certainty about whether the allegations are true or not, we can say that the possibility of Olsen’s participation in the series excites the fans. The source also says that they hope Olsen will come in a ‘witch’ role, similar to the one in Marvel. We do not know whether this is a possibility based on a source or whether it is his own thoughts.
