El Salvador President Nayib Bukele will open a pet hospital with revenues from Bitcoin (BTC).

Bukele first announced the idea in a tweet he posted on October 9. He noted that there has been an excess of $4 million in a trust fund since the government adopted Bitcoin.
It was stated in the country’s local press that the opening was planned on February 19, but the event was canceled without an explanation.
In his first statement, Bukele stated that no Bitcoin was sold for the construction of the hospital, only the USD portion from the trust fund was used.
The President announced that they have purchased 1801 Bitcoins so far.
