Ekşi Sözlük, whose access was blocked last month due to ‘incitement to hatred and enmity’, objected to the blocking decision, after the decision was approved, the BTK took action to implement the decision to be closed again, and finally the access barrier remained.
Ekşi Sözlük management updated its entry titled ‘dictionary rules’, which was first entered on 03.11.2001, on 11.03.2023 and published new dictionary rules for the access barrier.
The new Ekşi Sözlük rules dated 11.03.2023 are as follows:
- Users who have not passed 6 months since becoming an author in Ekşi Sözlük and who do not fill the 100 entry limit will not be able to open a topic, so rookies will not be able to open a topic.
- The rookie writers will not be able to open a topic until they have completed 6 months and 100 entries after the rookie period ends.
- Authors whose entries with legal problems are deleted will not be able to open a new topic for 1 month.
- The entries of the authors who do not have the authority to open a title will not affect the agenda algorithm.
- If the illegal entries of the authors who cannot open a title are deleted, 1 more month will be added to the 6-month filling period for each deleted entry.
These new rules, which were published yesterday afternoon, were actually mentioned in the interview with Ekşi Sözlük executives 2 days ago. You can reach our interview with Ekşi Sözlük executives from the link below.
