Published and developed by Konami, one of the most popular sports games in the game world, PES, as you know, changed its name last year and is now known as eFootball. The new game of the eFootball series, eFootball 2023, made its debut in the past hours.
eFootball 2023 Released
To say that eFootball 2023 has made its debut would actually be a bit of a misnomer because the game released last year only got an update and it became eFootball 2023. The game will be playable on PlayStation 4®, PlayStation 5®, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows®10 supported desktop computers and Steam® starting today.

eFootball™ enters its second year, bringing with it updated player data and transfers from the summer season. With its ‘free-to-play’ model, KONAMI is working hard to bring gamers the latest developments in football simulation games, especially the updated rosters and stadiums of most partner and licensed clubs.
New Partnerships
eFootball™ 2023 celebrates with the return of two former partner clubs, Italy’s local league champions AC Milan and cup winners FC Internazionale. This is the iconic stadium San Siro, where the clubs share their full lineups, kits and shared their place in the game.
Liga BBVA MX is coming to eFootball™ 2023, thanks to a very special license agreement! All 18 Mexican clubs, exact copies of the players and the historic Estadio Azteca stadium are thus presented to the taste of gamers.
But it’s not just clubs that KONAMI adds. English international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes, among them Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Takefusa Kubo.
New Card Types
- The latest version of eFootball™ introduces two new card types for the game’s popular game mode “Dream Team”: “Epic” and “Highlight”.
- ‘Epic’ – Epic cards will focus on key players in football history and pay homage to their heyday.
- ‘Highlight’ – Featured cards will focus on the current season and select current players who have set world football ablaze in the 2022/23 season.
