Long-term studies in the scientific world to prevent aging have recently started to give place to extremely positive results. Just in the past few weeks, the effects of aging have been reversed as if they have literally traveled through time, but today there is new news from the world of science.

Scientists from Cambridge University’s Babraham Institute have developed a new ‘reprogramming’ technique to make skin cells behave as if they were much younger. According to the published research, thanks to the new technique, people will have the chance to reverse the aging process of their cells by 30 years. In other words, our cells will go on a 30-year time travel into the past.

Changes take place in 13 days:

In experiments simulating a skin wound, aged cells were exposed to a new technique developed by scientists. This technique of removing age-related changes with a mix of chemicals worked, and the cells began to behave as if they were much younger cells. Thus, all changes in the cells due to aging disappeared.

Actually, this success has been achieved in the scientific world before. However, the difference of the newly developed technique from previous techniques was the time period in which the technique was successful in which the cells were exposed. While the latest studies have reduced this time to 50 days, the new study has reduced it much further to 13 days.

In their statement for their new study, scientists shared that their work is a big step in cell reprogramming. However, a warning was given before this process was officially used in humans. Scientists stated that the mechanics behind reprogramming are still not fully understood, and more research is needed on this subject.
