Indie developer Alessandro Paluzzi discovered a new upcoming feature in their Threads code. This feature; It allows users to edit the posts they make in Threads. You know; Being able to edit posts on Twitter has been desired for years, but this feature never came. Nowadays, only users who pay and become Premium subscribers can edit their posts on X.

The leaked screenshot reveals that the “Edit” option will be added to the menu with sharing-related options. By touching this option, the user will be able to make changes to his/her share in Threads. However, there is an important limitation here. Paluzzi says the editing function will only be available for 5 minutes. If the user wants to edit the post, he will only have time for the first 5 minutes. It is possible to say that this period is sufficient.
