With the change brought to group chats, groups that exceed 256 members will be automatically muted. The system is activated when the 257th member is included in the group or when you join a group with more than 256 members. If the user does not want, they can unmute the group again. The new feature, which started in the WhatsApp beta process, will be available in the final version soon, but a clear date is not known for now.
