Ece Ronay, who came to the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Çağlayan with her lawyer, filed a criminal complaint against Mehmet Ali Erbil with an audio and video message to the prosecutor’s office. Making a statement to the press while leaving the courthouse, Ronay said as follows:
“It has neither the location of my house nor my address. There is no positive or negative image about me sent to him. Nothing. He’s just talking, blaming me all the time. He doesn’t say, ‘As a 65-year-old man, I harassed a woman younger than my 22-year-old daughter’, he did this and that. I’m a woman. No matter what I am, I don’t deserve to be treated like this.”
After these statements, the social media phenomenon was asked whether he received a money offer or not, and said, “My fiancee, the gentleman’s assistant over the phone called from a secret number and offered 50 thousand liras money.”
On the subject, Ronay’s lawyer stated that everyone knows the messages and that they submitted the voice recordings and messages in their application to the prosecutor’s office. Stating that a 2-month suspension decision came after this, the lawyer concluded his statements by stating that the final decision is now in the judiciary.
