Sanctions against Russia from all over the world continue to increase. EA Sports FIFA does not remain silent about the human tragedy in Ukraine. According to the statement made on Twitter, EA Sports has removed the Russian national team and Russian clubs from FIFA 22, FIFA mobile and FIFA online games.
EA Sports’ peace in the world and in Ukraine emphasis was placed on advocacy. Stating that they took this sanction decision to end this occupation as soon as possible, the company announced that it took this decision after negotiations with FIFA and UEFA. It is seen that FIFA had an influence on this decision.

If the situation in Ukraine does not improve rapidly, we keep all the sanctions including the ban on Russia from international competitions in the very near future. For this reason, we are in contact with the International Olympic Committee, UEFA and all other sports organizations.
FIFA has decided that Russia will not be mentioned by name in International matches. The Russian flag symbol will not be used in the matches that are decided to be played under the name of the Russian Football Union.
