Battlefield 2042 remains a nightmare for publisher EA and producer DICE. The production, which received very mediocre feedback from actors and professional review sites, became the least-selling and least-liked production of recent years. The famous production, which the players left one by one, came to the fore again due to the fact that the application that bans cheating players is not working properly these days.
Battlefield 2042 draws backlash once again
According to a recent article, Battlefield 2042’s anti-cheat tool has unfairly banned thousands of players in recent days. This tool, which caused various connection problems and prevented many players from entering online modes, has now targeted innocent players. This problem, which has been mentioned infrequently since the beta process of the game, has almost reached the ceiling these days.
According to reports from the EA forums and Reddit, some of the players are excluded from the game simply because they have a certain piece of hardware on their computer, and some of them have applications that have nothing to do with cheating, such as taking screenshots, tracking the computer’s RAM, etc. getting banned. Moreover, after this problem, there is no positive feedback from EA’s support team.
According to a social media message sent by Tom Henderson, one of the leading names in the industry, the forum, which was opened about these unfair bans called ‘false-positive’ in EA forums and reached a total of 163 pages, was closed for comment by EA and locked. This attitude of EA has doubled the nerves of the players. There has been no official statement regarding this negative situation from DICE or EA yet.
