Dying Light 2, which was released a few months ago and made a lot of noise in the game industry, would normally have a new story DLC in June. It has been announced that the update, which is expected to make some improvements to the game and bring new features, has been postponed.
Last month, Techland announced that it would release an important update for its popular game Dying Light 2 in June. With the said update; Photo Mode was expected to come to Dying Light 2. Not only that. The most striking aspect of the update was undoubtedly the new story DLC it would bring. However, recent statements show that the highly anticipated update will skip this summer.
Dying Light 2 update will arrive in September
Dying Light 2 developer Techland announced in a post shared on Twitter that the update has been delayed. The giant update, which was first called June, was postponed to September for some reason. Actually, this is not just for Dying Light. Recently, other production companies have announced that most of their games have been postponed. For example, the highly anticipated Starfield was postponed to the next months due to lack of time.
Now, a similar situation applies to Dying Light 2. Techland stated that they need a little more time and announced that the update will come in September. Statements made on the official Twitter account are as follows:
