The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) announced in a statement that it has imposed a fine of 3.3 million euros on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance for providing unlicensed brokerage services.

The Dutch Central Bank fined 3.3 million euros for serving without the necessary licenses.

What happened between the Dutch Central Bank and Binance first started on May 21, 2020. The Netherlands imposed a license requirement on cryptocurrency exchanges. However, Binance did not receive any licenses in the country and the penalty was first imposed on June 25, 2022. However, Binance appealed this decision and applied for the cancellation of the penalty on June 2, 2022. The cancellation of the sentence was not accepted.

In addition, in the Netherlands, which has not seen any hard steps against the crypto money market, Taylor Travel Management Group announced that it added crypto money to its payment options in partnership with BitPay in April last year.
