Apple, which has USB-C charging port in iPad and Mac series in recent years, offers adapters of different strengths. Offering an 18W charging adapter for iPad Pro, Apple offers a 30W charging adapter for Macbook Air. A banner appearing on Apple’s support page confirms the company’s dual-port USB-C adapter.
Dual port 35W charging adapter coming from Apple
Apple has included a dual USB-C 35W adapter on its support page. On the support page, a small explanation about the device was also given. “Use the Apple 35W dual USB-C power adapter and USB-C cable (not included) to charge your device. Connect a USB-C cable to any port on the power adapter and plug the power adapter firmly into the wall outlet. Make sure the outlet is easily accessible so that the electrical connection can be easily disconnected. If the cable is the other cheap one, connect your device.” This device, for which Apple provides the user guide, is thought to be the new 30W adapter mentioned by Ming-Chi Kuo.
Since Apple does not include any other dual-port USB-C adapters in its stores, this device is considered to be Apple branded. It is not certain whether Apple will offer this adapter for sale. The 35W power of the device shows the total power. If two ports are used, a maximum of 35W power can be provided. Apple’s new charging adapter is expected to be based on gallium nitride and thus offer a very small size. Apple probably won’t ship this charging adapter with any of their devices.
