The Ukrainian government shared two crypto accounts on its official Twitter account on February 26 for donations.
According to the data of London-based blockchain analysis provider Elliptic, 10.2 million dollars worth of crypto money was transferred to these accounts in 12,799 transactions.
Cryptocurrency Donations
In the statement made by the company, it was stated that a total of 16.7 million dollars worth of crypto money donations were made to the Ukrainian government and non-governmental organizations that support the military.
In addition to the mentioned crypto money donation, it was shared that the Ukrainian government’s Ethereum account was sent an NFT (non-tradable token) worth approximately $2 million.
