According to the news of Aysel Yücel from Dünya Newspaper, HABAŞ, which bought the factory of Honda in Gebze, which ended production in Turkey, is preparing to produce domestic vehicles here. The car, which is expected to appear as a hybrid, will appear as a very comprehensive investment.
Establishing a very comprehensive engineering team for this, the company has agreed with more than 30 people and incorporated it. At the same time, Habaş bought the equipment in Honda’s factory, which was closed in England a while ago, and started working to bring the parts to Turkey.
At the same time, according to the information received, Habaş’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mehmet Rüştü Başaran, started to offer proposals to former Honda employees for the production of the hybrid car. Unfortunately, there are no other details about the car to be produced.
