Billy Markus explained why Dogecoin should give up its meme status as follows;

“There is already endless digital speculation, digital tokens and chains. Pointless speculation tokens are made every day. Dogecoin is on track to become the most used token for purchasing and trading.”

Markus explains how supporters can contribute to the Dogecoin project;

“You can contribute directly to the core code, you can contribute to one of the many projects led by the Dogecoin foundation. Nothing can stop you from helping what you want to succeed.”
