Serbian police announced that they seized the $2.2 million flat in Belgrade of Do Kwon, CEO of Terraform Labs.
The developments regarding Do Kwon, who was caught after a chase of approximately six months, continue. Serbian prosecutor Branko Stamenkovic reported that Serbian police seized the Terraform Labs CEO’s $2.2 million apartment in Belgrade. The connection of Do Kwon, who has been hiding here from time to time during the six-month period, with other households is being investigated. Currently, the documents of the police department, the prosecution’s decision and the rules of high-tech crimes have permission to search Do Kwon’s home and confiscate the apartments. After the $60 billion collapse of the Terra blockchain network, Do Kwon faced multiple charges. Things seem to be getting mixed up for Do Kwon, who will be tried on various charges.
Do Kwon Developments Continue
The United States and South Korea accused Do Kwon of fraud related to the $60 billion collapse of the Terra blockchain network in May of last year. South Korean prosecutors are also working to extradite Han for his role as the former CFO of Terraform Labs. Also, in September of last year, Interpol issued an arrest warrant for Han and Kwon.
The flat was bought by Han Chang-Joon, finance director of Terraform Labs, who was arrested with Kwon when they tried to board a private jet bound for Dubai from Montenegro. Chang Joon and Kwon have been detained for allegedly using fake passports and are currently awaiting official charges that are expected to appear in a Montenegrin court.
