Stating that he did not think for a second about what would happen if Terra collapsed, Do Kwon said that the South Korean investigators investigating Terra’s collapse had not reached him.

After the Terra blockchain crashed, causing serious damage to the market, founder Do Kwon said in one of his first interviews that the investigators who conducted the research did not contact him.

Do Kwon Responds to Allegations of Escape

Authorities have banned Terra active developers and former developers from leaving the country. Politicians urged Do Kwon to attend a hearing. Kwon’s name began to appear in lawsuits in both South Korea and the United States. Speaking from Singapore, where he currently lives, Kwon said that dealing with legal processes is not about what you will encounter, but how you manage it.

Kwon said in a statement:

“What we’re going to do is put the facts as we know them. We will be completely honest about the matter and deal with it, whatever the consequences.”

Do Kwon, the developer of the Terra blockchain, explained that this was a misunderstanding and was there before the incident, referring to those who thought he had moved to Singapore to escape the inspectors. He said he was dealing with threats against his family in South Korea, and this prompted him to take action.
