Disney, which has not fallen from the country’s agenda recently due to its decision about the Atatürk series, shared its financial report for the last 3 months today. The report revealed that Disney made more than a quarter billion dollars in losses from content platforms such as Disney+ and Hulu.

But Disney had a promise to company investors before: to make Disney+ a profitable platform. While the company experienced a record loss of 12 million subscribers in the last quarter, it also announced that it will increase subscription prices today. But there was another decision taken to increase revenue.

Disney is going the way of Netflix:

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that he is “looking for ways” to prevent password sharing, just like Netflix’s new limitation has put into practice. It has been announced that the new application will be put into effect later this year.

Iger partially answered the question that was the architect of these decisions. Asked how many people use Disney services with password sharing, he said “a significant amount” without giving an exact number. He stated that the company has made this business a priority at the moment.
