Disney is trying to make a deal with the BBC

After Disney and BBC sources told Bloomberg, any agreement between Disney and the BBC to acquire the broadcast rights for a new Doctor Who series is said to be in the early stages. Therefore, there is no guarantee that any agreement will be reached. If an agreement can be reached between the two companies, the long-running sci-fi series will air its next season on Disney+ globally as well as on the BBC.

Neither the BBC nor Disney made any statements about this partnership agreement. Doctor Who, which started broadcasting in 2005, continues to be broadcast on HBO Max with its 13th season and under the name Doctor Who: Flux.
