Disney Plus with ads not only allows subscribers to watch content in high quality (extended aspect ratio with IMAX, Dolby Vision, 4K Ultra HD, HDR10), but also allows you to watch it on up to four devices simultaneously. The ad plan includes Disney+’s entire catalog of content. Group monitoring, SharePlay, and Dolby Atmos will also be added in the future.
For comparison, on Netflix’s basic plan with ads, subscribers can watch content in the highest 720p HD quality and only on one device at a time. Also, about 5% to 10% of Netflix’s content library is missing due to licensing restrictions.
The Disney Plus basic package does not offer the option to download movies and TV shows and watch them offline (offline), like Netflix’s basic plan with ads.
