Discovery that shocked the scientific world: “We couldn’t notice it for 35 years!”

Today, once again, there has been a development that brought to mind the question of whether there is conscious life in space and shook the scientific world.

According to scientists, radio waves have been sent to Earth in bursts since 1988 from an unknown source. Moreover, the probability of not being a planet or star is very high. But this is not the first time such a situation has been encountered. So what makes these radio waves so special that they leave the scientific world baffled?

Conscious life in space is about to be discovered!

Studies by scientists in recent years have confirmed that it is very likely that at least 2 planets in our solar system were habitable a long time ago. And yet, it is very unlikely that there will be life in galaxies that contain billions of different types of systems and in billions of galaxies where these galaxies look like tiny dots.

Of course, humanity strives for the conscious discovery of life as well as the search for a habitable planet to settle in in the future. Today, an important step has been taken in this area. Scientists have determined that a source they have not yet detected has been sending 20-minute bursts of energy to the Earth regularly for 35 years. The brightness levels of these bursts also vary considerably.

At first glance, these emissions look a lot like the outgoing bursts of pulsars, which are neutron stars, or fast radio bursts. However, the newly discovered source sends radio signals over a period of 20-21 minutes, which was thought not possible with the previously expected explanations.

Let’s give a little more detail to understand the subject better. Pulsars are rapidly spinning neutron stars. During these movements, they can also emit radio bursts. So emissions can be picked up very briefly and brightly as a pulsar passes Earth. Think of it like being exposed to the light of a spinning lighthouse.

Of course, this process can only happen if the pulsar’s magnetic field is strong enough and spinning fast enough. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be enough energy for us to see the pulsar from Earth. This so-called pulsar death line means it has to spin fast and strong for sources to be detected.

But the newly discovered object, named GPMJ1839-10, is far beyond this death line. If it is a pulsar, it can destroy the theories and data that scientists have put forward so far. Because it works very differently than we think.

But not just a pulsar, it could also be a high magnetic white dwarf or magnetar. But scientists say they don’t tend to emit such emissions either, meaning they’ll still be faced with an unusual situation.

After the event, scientists examining old records state that these signals have been detected on Earth since at least 1988. However, at that time, these data may have been meaningless or may have been detected during another research without knowing what it was.

Moreover, at the moment, our technology is still not at a sufficient level to interpret this data. Therefore, it is stated that new studies will be conducted for similar situations in the coming period. Victoria M Kaspi, Professor of Physics at McGill University, also said:

“Over time we will see what else is hidden in these data and what observations at different astronomical time scales will reveal.”
