The company, which postponed the release of the cards until December in order to stagnate in the second-hand market, also goes for a discount so that there is no excess stock.
Discount on RTX 3000 graphics cards
According to the information received, the recommended price of 4 models will be reduced in the GeForce RTX 3000 series in the near future. It is stated that the discount list has been sent to global channels. Thus, both the stocks will be cleared and it will contribute to the third quarter financial statements, as there is a possibility that it will be below the expectations in this period.
The biggest discount is on the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, dropping by $500 to $1499. The GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card drops to $1299 with a $200 discount, while the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card is $1099 with a $100 discount. The GeForce RTX 3080 12GB is set at $799.
The discount has not been reflected on the official website of the company yet, and the sources do not give a clear date, but it is estimated that the new prices will become valid at the end of July at the latest.
