In some previous leaks and claims, the Galaxy S22 Ultra was said to have a 200MP camera sensor from Olympus. However, after that, claims that this was not true and that Samsung would continue to use the 108MP primary camera sensor with some improvements in zooming began to intensify. Now, all the camera features of the upcoming flagship phone have been revealed.

According to Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), Galaxy S22 Ultra has 0.8µm pixels and F1. It will have a slightly improved 108MP primary camera sensor (1/33 inch) with an 8 aperture. It looks like this will be a slightly modified version of the ISOCELL HM3 used in the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The upcoming high-end phone has 1.4µm pixels and an F2 from Sony (1/2.55 inch). It is said to use a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor with 2 apertures. Also, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will use two 10MP (1/3.52 inch) Sony sensors, one with a 3x optical zoom lens and the other with a 10x optical zoom lens.

If this information is correct, there will not be a major camera hardware improvement compared to the Galaxy S21 Ultra. And most of the improvements can consist of software optimizations and processing algorithms.
