Google recently announced its highly anticipated first smartwatch. The search giant did not reveal all the features of the Pixel Watch, which it debuted at the I/O developer conference. He just released a short promotional video and touched on a few of his specific features.
Google announced its first smartwatch: Here comes the Pixel Watch
9to5Google The smartwatch has the Exynos 9110 chipset, which was first released with the Samsung Galaxy Watch in 2018, the website reports. So it’s powered by a four-year-old chipset. This platform, which includes two Cortex-A53 cores, is based on the 10 nm fabrication process.
Samsung has better solutions
Samsung’s catalog also has more modern solutions for wearables. Many people even thought that Google would use the Exynos W920 chipset found in the Galaxy Watch 4. The old processor issue is most likely related to the Pixel Watch project starting a long time ago.
When the Exynos W920 was released, a chipset change could have delayed the development of the Pixel Watch. However, if the device will still come with a four-year-old processor, Google is on the wrong track. Because the public expects Pixel Watch to be Android’s Apple Watch.
