In a content we shared with you a while ago, we mentioned that the world’s most popular instant messaging application, WhatsApp, is working on a new feature. The feature, which was being developed for the iOS ecosystem at that time, expands the scope of the “time message” feature that entered our lives a short time ago. It allowed them to choose different time periods such as 24 hours or 90 days.
Now, there has been an important development regarding this feature. The beta version of WhatsApp, coded 2. 21. 200. 11 in the iOS ecosystem, offered the feature in question to users. iPhone owners who are using the beta version of WhatsApp through the TestFlight program can now test the new time options.
Here’s what WhatsApp’s new feature in testing looks like
The new feature that WhatsApp has tested in the iOS ecosystem will be available to all users if there are no problems. In this way, iPhone owners will have the opportunity to use the timed messages feature in different time intervals such as 24 hours or 90. However, the official release date of the feature in question is currently unknown.
In the meantime, it looks like WhatsApp’s timed messaging feature will now have an automation. Because users will be able to set a specific time for all new messages with a button they add to the page where the feature is activated. In this way, messages in all chats will be automatically deleted at the specified time.
