Reportedly, MediaTek’s new flagship chipset will be called Dimensity 9300. However, the chipset, which will be based on TSMC’s N4P processing node, is expected to be developed in partnership with Vivo and MediaTek. In this context, the new solution may first appear in the Vivo X100 model.
Going into details, the N4P technology powering the Dimensity 9300 offers performance increases of 11 percent and up to 4 percent compared to the original 5nm, that is, N5 and N4 nodes. In addition, it will provide a 22 percent improvement in power efficiency and a 6 percent improvement in transistor density. .
A rival to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is coming
Detailed details of Dimensity 9300 have not been shared yet. However, the new platform is expected to be released with the ultra-core + large-core + small-core configuration. We will most likely encounter Cortex X4 in ultra core, Cortex A715 in large core and Cortex A515 in small core.
