Dimensity 8000 Max vs. Snapdragon 870

The Dimensity 8000 Max chipset, which will bring the Oppo K10 smartphone model to life, includes 4 Cortex-A78 and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. Besides the Mali-G610 graphics unit, there is the MediaTek 580 artificial intelligence unit.

Dimensity 8000 Max chipset runs 0.1GHz slower than Dimensity 8100 chipset. According to Geekbench 5 tests, the scores of Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 8100 chipsets are as follows:

Dimensity 8000 Max chipset, produced in the 5nm process, outperforms its rival, especially in multi-cores. Dimensity 8000 Max and Dimensity 8100 seem to compete with Snapdragon 870 in this respect. We can say that the Dimensity 8100 Max is a Snapdragon 888 competitor.
