The Dimensity 1080 chipset is produced by TSMC on the 6nm process and is a successor to the Dimensity 920 chipset. While 2 Cortex-A78 cores work at 2.6GHz, 6 Cortex-A55 cores increase to 2GHz. On the graphics side is the 4-cluster Mali-G68.
The chipset, which supports LPDDR5 RAM memory and UFS 3.1 storage technologies, also allows 200MP resolution cameras. In addition, 4K HDR and 120Hz Full HD+ displays are also supported. On the connectivity side, there is Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and dual 5G standby. Dimensity 1080 will be on the market at the end of the year and it is stated that Xiaomi and Honor brands will feature for the first time.
