Diablo, one of the rooted action RPG series of the game world, is seen as one of the building blocks of the game world for almost every player who grew up with this series or discovered the series, albeit late. Likewise, Blizzard’s new game Diablo IV is among the games that many players want to play as soon as possible.
However, the game, which is expected to be released in the coming months, may never come to Game Pass, even if Microsoft buys Activision Blizzard. Cause it’s pretty sad.
The structure of the game is not suitable for the Game Pass system
Rod Fergusson, General Manager of Blizzard, the producer company of Diablo IV, which millions of players have been waiting for, gave the bad news to the fans of the series in his statement regarding the beta process of the game. “It’s great to see the excitement about our Diablo IV and Wolf Pack puppy (a feature in the game). We’re getting some questions about whether D4 will be on Game Pass, and I want to let you know that we have no plans for that. See you at Sanctuary during the Beta Early Access weekend starting March 17th!” Using his expressions, Fergusson announced that the game will not come to Game Pass.
According to some sources in the industry, Blizzard and Microsoft do not want to add the game to Game Pass, even if the purchase takes place. One of the biggest reasons for this is that the game has a multiplayer structure and therefore a serious amount of money will be earned from the sales of the game. So, according to the allegations, it’s all about money.
In addition, it is a fact that is known by almost everyone that the majority of Diablo players have only played Diablo for thousands of hours. Game Pass, on the other hand, is a system based on players playing multiple games and experiencing each game. In short, the Game Pass system and Diablo are completely opposite to each other.
The game, which will be opened in early access on March 17-20, is expected to be released in June. The prices of the game are pocket-friendly.
