SEASON OF BLOOD

  • Team up with Erys the Vampire Slayer, voiced by actress and filmmaker Gemma Chan, and face an all-new, bloodthirsty threat haunting the Sanctuary. Throughout their journey, players will be able to tap into Vampire Powers, which grant their characters a variety of dark and powerful abilities that will allow them to fight like vampires. Achieve these powers with the new resource Mighty Blood and the required matching Covenant Armor.

  • With the arrival of Vampire Lord Zir, new monsters emerged. Fight corrupted enemies called Bloodseekers who look and act like player characters and use tainted class abilities.

  • The Blood Harvest Season Event is where you have the highest chance of dropping Powerful Blood and Covenant Armor. In these events, you will encounter hordes of vampires and Bloodseekers in different parts of the Sanctuary.

  • Once the Malicious Season ends, all Seasonal characters will be transferred to the Everlasting Realm, and all items in the Malicious Season characters’ stash will be moved to a new Retrieval Only Stash tab in the Everlasting Realm.

  • You’ll be able to challenge five end-game bosses, including the Ice Beast, the Dark Master, Varshan, Duriel’s Echo, and the Electric Saint Grigoire.

QUALITY OF LIFE UPDATES

  • The Skip Campaign feature will now be available much earlier, requiring only completing the Starter chapter with any character to gain earlier access to Seasonal content.

  • Fame rewards you earn in the eternal or seasonal realm (such as potion stacks, extra skill points, extra perfection points, and grunt obols) will now carry over from season to season. Unique rewards earned through fame will now also apply to new characters players create in the same game type. Extreme Hard fame rewards will depend on the player’s other extreme hard mode characters, and rewards for characters not in ultra hard mode will depend on that character type.

  • Earning XP and reaching Level 100 is 40% faster compared to Season of Villains.

  • Improvements to Nightmare Dungeons include teleportation into the dungeon, increased monster density, tougher NPC companions, and reduced regression.

  • The end-game experience has been greatly improved with the addition of the boss ladder system; Players will be able to battle 5 new and returning end-game bosses for a much higher drop of Uniques and Super Uniques. Legion Events and World Bosses will spawn more frequently, among other end-game improvements.

  • Numerous Item and inventory management tweaks, such as making gems a crafting item, reducing overloaded inventories and unnecessary trips to town, and Escape Scroll changes to prevent players from losing progress on overly difficult characters due to connection issues.

  • Mounts are now faster, more agile and capable of smashing through blockades.

  • Moreover, numerous innovations including town updates, Event and monster density improvements, Elemental resistance and status effect changes, and UI and experience features.
