Samsung introduced the Galaxy S21 FE model to users in January last year. Famous analyst Roland Quandt announced that the Galaxy S23 FE model will not be released.
Samsung may shelve the Galaxy S23 FE project
The Galaxy FE series, called Fan Edition, appeals to more users with low technical features and affordable price compared to the main models. Bypassing the Galaxy S22 FE model, Samsung will apparently shelve the Fan Edition series.
The Galaxy FE series, which is described as the flagship killer, causes less attention to the Galaxy A series models. Allegedly, the company ended the production of the Galaxy FE family in order to sell more mid-upper segment devices.
Another claim about the Galaxy S23 FE came from the website The Elec. The Elec claimed that Samsung will launch the new model in August or September.
Galaxy S20 FE, which gained popularity with more than 10 million sales in 2020, managed to overshadow the flagship models. The company, which could not achieve the same performance as the Galaxy S21 FE, canceled the S22 FE project.
According to The Elec, Samsung will include the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor in the Galaxy S23 FE model. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor has Cortex-X2 at 3.19 GHz, three Cortex-A710 running at 2.75 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores running at 1.80 GHz. Produced with 4nm technology, the graphics interface of the processor is Adreno 730.
