Apple’s analysts and whistleblowers are more in the news right now than it is itself. A different claim has been made about the 2024 model iPad Pros, which Apple will release a year later.
According to the claim, Apple has already started developing the display panels of these devices, but a very different glass from previous models is being developed.
Allegedly, OLED screens are being developed for the iPad Pro 2024 models, but they are quite fragile without a protective screen.
ShrimpApplePro, a famous Apple leaker, has revealed Apple’s plans for the next iPad Pro models. He said there are four prototypes in development and the tablets have screen sizes of 11 inches and 13 inches.
The weird part of the leak is that Apple won’t be using the same flexible OLED technology it uses in the iPhone. Instead, it will switch to a more fragile version, namely hard OLED screens. These screens are frequently used in the industry, even Google is used in Pixel devices. The reason for its frequent use is that it is very cheap to produce.
We will see together how Apple will overcome this. Although some iPhones use LCD screens, keeping it above a certain standard allows us to be very optimistic about OLED screen iPads.
