Powering the iPhone series, iOS is among the most reliable operating systems today. With this complex hardware and security structure, it is quite difficult to reverse engineer the operating system, but some developers have found a way. Developed by Hikari no Yume in the past months, touchHLE allows to emulate the first versions of the iOS operating system on Mac and Windows. This project, which started as a hobby, has now been ported to Android.

You can run Super Monkey Ball on your Android device

TouchHLE, which allows some applications and games to be run on PC and Mac by using the vulnerabilities of the old generation iOS operating systems, has been ported to Android by a developer named ciciplusplus. Although detailed information about the project has not been shared, the post shared by ciciplusplus shows that Super Monkey Ball is running on an Android device.

The project, which you can review and try on GitHub, currently only works on devices with aarch64 architecture and only supports Super Monkey Ball 1.02, and it is stated that the game’s gyroscope controls do not work either, but the project is expected to solve these problems in the future. If you want to try the project, you need to download the source code from Github.
