Samsung recently submitted a new 25W wireless charging package for approval to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an independent government agency that oversees US interstate and international electronics. According to some leak sources, the company plans to ship the Samsung Galaxy S22 family, which is expected to be launched soon, with a 25W wireless charging support accessory.
According to the allegations, the phone is considered certain to come with wireless charging support for the Galaxy S22 group. If true, Samsung will offer such high-speed wireless charging support for the first time on a device. The company has previously offered wireless charging support. The Galaxy S21 Ultra had support for 15W charging via the USB-C port. In addition, the company is expected to increase the wired charging speed up to 45W on Galaxy S22 phones. Galaxy S22 Ultra will be introduced with a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging technology.
While the launch date is not officially stated, many leaks will be introduced with the event to be held on February 18, according to sources. The Galaxy S22 group will be powered by the company’s design, the Samsung Exynos 2200 processor.
