Dell came up with its new laptop called Concept Luna. One of the most striking aspects of the device; the motherboard, which is only 5,580 square millimeters in size, is located behind the screen. This design, which we are not used to seeing in closed laptop models such as the Concept Luna, also contributes to the fact that the motherboard is 75 percent smaller and contains 20 percent fewer components.

Dell stated that the Concept Luna has reduced the number of screws by a factor of 10 to facilitate repairability. The company said that only four screws are enough to access the internal components of the laptop, thus significantly reducing the repair time. The process of disassembling, repairing and reassembling the Concept Luna’s key components is shortened by 1.5 hours.
Dell has provided better passive heat dissipation by separating the main components of the laptop from the back of the main battery. The company said it thus eliminated the need for a cooling fan. In addition, Concept Luna has an aluminum body. This aluminum material was processed using hydro power, which requires less energy and significantly reduces scrap metal.
