These malicious apps downloaded from Google Play, fortunately, have been removed from the list. In this way, they will no longer be able to add new victims to their number of victims. Unless, of course, users download these apps in a different way.
As you may notice, the purpose of most of the apps in the list above is pretty similar. The apps mostly do tasks like scanning documents, editing photos and recording calls for free.
While free to download and seemingly harmless, these apps can wreak havoc on your phones, causing all sorts of privacy and security breaches. The mentioned applications can easily access contact numbers, text messages, phone calls, user names, passwords, PIN codes and financial information.
