DeFi project DEUS has announced that its stablecoin DEI fell victim to a $6.3 million hack. The developer team got help from white hat hackers to prevent attacks.

With the rapid development of the DeFi industry, hacking attacks in this area have also increased. Previously, DeFi app DEUS Finance was hacked twice. Finally, according to data obtained by blockchain analytics firm PeckShield; Deus Finance has been hacked again.

The DEUS team reported that $1.3 million was stolen on the BNB Chain side and $5 million on the Arbitrum network. DEUS, which suspended its hacked smart contracts, took help from white-hat hackers to avoid further damage. As a result of this assistance, DEIs were burned.

Wu Blockchain made the following statement on the subject:

“The stablecoin DEI, issued by the DeFi protocol DEUS, was hacked and the BSC chain lost $1.3 million, the loss in Arbitrum exceeded $5 million. DEUS stated that it suspended the relevant contracts and burned DEI with the help of white hats to prevent further damage.”
