AnTuTu has announced the 10 best Android flagship phones of December 2021. Although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is currently the most powerful flagship processor, it has not yet made it to the list. On the other hand, Snapdragon made its mark on the list, as in the previous months.
As you know, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has yet been officially included in two flagships. These are the Motorola Edge X30 and Xiaomi 12 and Pro models. The official test results of these devices and the January AnTuTu score list may change completely.
Top 10 Android flagships of December 2021 according to AnTuTu score ranking
Among Android flagship phones, the best results according to AnTuTu scores are published every month. In the last month of the year, the summit did not change, and models using Snapdragon 888 Plus took the lead. However, the Oppo Find N foldable phone, which was introduced at the end of the year as a surprise, also entered the list. The model using Snapdragon 888 managed to enter the list from the fifth place, surpassing its competitors.
The Black Shark 4S Pro model was at the top of the top 10 Android flagship models of December and 2021. Coming with Snapdragon 888 Plus, the model managed to get 874 thousand 702 AnTuTu points. Gaming-oriented smartphones have been at the top of AnTuTu’s list for several years now. Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro took the second place in the list. The game phone managed to get 852 thousand 985 AnTuTu points. In the third place of the list, iQOO 8 Pro scored 845 thousand 580 points with its Snapdragon 888 Plus processor.
The models in the top three of the list actually use the same processor. However, in terms of Android performance, extras such as storage, RAM and cooling positively affect the AnTuTu score. In this sense, the Black Shark 4S Pro model’s 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage option took the first place. As you know, gaming phones are at the forefront with their special cooling units. ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro, which is also in the second place, achieved this result with 12 GB Ram and 256 GB storage option. The iQOO 8 Pro model, which does not have a special cooling unit, failed to get the AnTuTu score that gaming phones get, despite its 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage unit.
