The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which consists of Marvel movies and series, is expanding day by day. We know that there are many new characters who will be joining this universe. One of these characters stands out as a name that all fans are eagerly waiting for: Deadpool.
Our talkative mercenary first appeared in movies shot by Fox. Later, with the acquisition of Fox by Disney, the rights of the character also changed hands. Disney, which also owns the rights of Marvel, was thus able to gather characters such as Avengers, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. Since then, the future of Deadpool has been a matter of curiosity.
We may have to wait a while to see Deadpool in the MCU (but it’ll be worth it)
According to the claims made on the internet, the first MCU-made movie where the popular character played by Ryan Reynolds will be seen will be Avengers: Kang Dynasty. Although it is a nice detail that there is Deadpool in the production where Fatih Kang and the Avengers team will face off against a more peaceful version in the Loki series, it means that we have to wait until 2025 for the character to start appearing in MCU movies.
Work continues for the third movie of Deadpool, which was the guest of the big screen with its second movie in 2018. Although there has been a large fan base who wanted to see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character in the Deadpool movies for a very long time, this seems unlikely. On the other hand, Chris Hemsworth, who plays the role of Thor, is willing to take part in Deadpool.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who shared the scripts of the first two Deadpool movies, expressed that they were excited to be able to use Marvel characters. Finally, watching a Deadpool movie on a big budget, with the advantage of being able to use almost any character, can be a very different experience.
