According to the shared system requirements, the minimum required graphics card for Dead Island 2 is AMD RX 480 or GTX 1060. In addition, users will need a minimum of 10GB of RAM, 70GB of storage and an AMD FX-9590 or Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor. Recommended system requirements include 16GB of RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i9 9900K processor, and AMD RX 6600 XT or GeForce RTX 2070 Super.

In the light of this information, we can say that users will need medium and high-end systems. But for 2K and above, the requirements are increasing drastically. Deep Silver also answered some questions about console versions of Dead Island 2.

However, the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions of the production will be 60 fps, and the previous generation versions will be 30 fps. It has also been confirmed that Dead Island 2 will not have cross-platform crossplay support. Dead Island 2 is set to launch on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 on April 21.
