Announced with a magnificent trailer in 2014, Dead Island 2 was an exciting game for the PS4 and Xbox One generation. However, the game had many problems during development and changed studios several times. Players who have not received any updates about the game for years assumed that the game was canceled, but last August, the game was re-announced and the release date was announced. The game, which was scheduled to be released on February 3, 2023, has been delayed once again.It will debut on April 28
On Dead Island 2’s Twitter account, the developer team announced that the game has been delayed once again. The new date was given as April 28, thus giving developers an additional 12 weeks. Stating that the development process is progressing well even though the game has been delayed, the team stated that they will spend the additional time for a debut that they can be proud of.
Dead Island 2, the sequel to the popular game of 2011, Dead Island, will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Epic Games Store next year. Dead Island 2 will be the first game to support Amazon Alexa’s voice commands. In addition, Dambuster Studios announced that they will open a special livestream for the game on December 6.
