Taking the competition to the next level with the RTX 3000 series, Nvidia is working on a new architecture while continuing its work on the RTX 4090 family. The company is working on the Lovelace GPU architecture, named after Ada Lovelace, the first computer programmer in history.
Nvidia’s Lovelace GPU architecture will debut at GTC 2022 in September
Nvidia, which experienced a decrease of approximately 44 percent in the second quarter of 2022, is working on new strategies to increase its market share. The company announced the financial statement with an event it held today. Making the opening speech, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang gave some information about the RTX 40 family and the new GPU architecture.
Huang stated that gamers will hear more about the architecture of the next generation graphics cards at GTC 2022, which will be held next month. It seems that the Lovelace GPU architecture will be introduced at the event to be held between September 19-22.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made the following statements on the subject.
I look forward to next month’s GTC conference, where we’ll share new developments in RTX’s reinvention of 3D graphics in gaming, AI’s ongoing breakthroughs, and building the metaverse, the next evolution of the Internet, and we’ll enter the next year with our new architecture.
On the other hand, the RTX 4090, which is expected to have Nvidia’s Lovelace GPU architecture, will have 24GB of VRAM memory, according to previously obtained information. A huge performance boost is expected with the Lovelace GPU architecture. In addition, the new Nvidia architecture is produced with TSMC’s 5 nm technology. Nvidia will use GDDR6X technology in the RTX 4090 model. The model, which is stated to have a 384-bit bus, will be assertive about performance.
