Date announced for Intel Meteor Lake and Lunar Lake processors
In a statement, Intel has confirmed that the Meteor Lake and Emeralds Rapids workstation processors will be introduced in the second half of 2023. However, it is still unclear whether the Meteor Lake launch will focus on desktop or mobile products. If we remember, recent leaks showed us that the Raptor Lake-S refresh will be introduced in the second half of 2023. Therefore, we can say that desktop Meteor Lake processors can be delayed to next year.
In addition, Intel has refreshed its Lunar Lake plans for low-power laptops. Recently, the chip giant said that the new laptop architecture will be designed from the ground up with a focus on power consumption. In this context, new processors will replace the Alder Lake-N series and will likely be introduced alongside more capable Meteor Lake processors.
