Microsoft Flight Simulator has been talked about a lot since it was released for PC in August 2020. Of course, his achievements also play a big role in this. The game, which we know managed to win more than a million players in just its first two weeks, passed the 10 million player limit after a little more than two years.
This impressive number includes players from the Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, as well as Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscriptions. Unfortunately, Microsoft did not share any details about the distribution of players in its announcement.
But there are some other details in the description: Since its launch, the game has hosted 500 million flights and traveled a total of 40 billion miles. This distance means 10 million revolutions around the Earth, or 200 rounds from the Earth to the Sun.
Microsoft Flight Simulator also holds the title of being Microsoft’s longest-running series. Version 1.0 was first released in 1982.
